A mother named ‘Glo’

Part 1 (from late 1960’s)

There once was a mother named Glo’
Who had so many kids she was Po’
She loved them that’s true
And when she was through
She said “That’s it I ain’t havin’ no more!”

Part 2 (2017)

Now her blessed Savior she’ll meet
And throw all her crowns at His feet
While the memory lingers on
(Like a Belafonte song)
Of a life that is full and complete
